ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 is the gold standard for business laptops. Deployed 60 units across our offices and maintenance has been minimal. Keyboard is still the best in the industry, and the security features are excellent.
IdeaPad Slim 5 Gen 10 with the Ryzen AI 7 processor handles my simulation workloads impressively well. The OLED display is easy on the eyes during marathon research sessions. Very good value for an academic budget.
